Backyard BBQ

Summer is upon us....

School is out, the pool is warming up and we are starting to get a lot of use out of our grill! The Memorial Day weekend has brought us much needed rest, relaxation and plenty of time to concoct a delicious meal for our friends and family.


Tonight we have four racks of ribs waiting to be grilled to perfection tomorrow and we can't wait to dig in. I cooked some shortcakes tonight which always brings me back to my childhood, and topped them with fresh strawberries and home-made vanilla bean whipping cream. We picked up all sorts of beautiful fruits and veggies at the Farmer's Market today and I spent the day washing and chopping to get ready to feast:).

In the mean time I put together a little BBQ table to welcome our guests and get us ready for Summer...
